  • Paul Shorrosh, President/CEO

    Paul Shorrosh has over 16 years of hands-on revenue cycle management experience, most recently as Business Office and Revenue Cycle Director for Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and IT from the University of Connecticut and an MSW in Healthcare from the University of Alabama. Seeing the disconnect between the front and back end of his departments, Paul developed a way to automate the manual QA process to report hundreds of common registration error types back to registrars so they could self-correct prior to billing. Complaints, rework and denials went down significantly and morale went up for both PFS and Patient Access staff, not to mention significantly greater accuracy rates and clean claim rates. Soon hospitals began requesting copies of AccuReg, and today Paul is the CEO of Database Solutions, Inc., and still dedicated to improving and empowering Patient Access.

  • Linda Sullivan, Vice President of Operations

    Linda Sullivan, Vice President of Operations, has spent the last 17 years working in healthcare business office and patient access operations. Prior to coming on board with Database Solutions, Linda spent 5 years as a Patient Access Director at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL, managing all areas of in-patient, out-patient, pre-registration and financial counseling. Prior to that, Linda worked for HealthSouth Corporation in Birmingham, AL as a National Business Office Consultant.

    Linda has earned both the CHAA and CPAR Certifications and currently oversees the Marketing and Software Implementation Departments, along with Continuous Quality Improvement for all DSI clients.

  • Brian Fulford, Vice President of Information Technology

    Brian Fulford has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has spent the last 10 years in healthcare related IT businesses working with 270/271 eligibility data sets, claims' status, and patient access related workflows. Prior to working with healthcare data, Brian worked in banking data and hardware/network design.

    As Vice President of IT, Brian evaluates new technologies and how they can be applied to making AccuReg work harder and smarter for our clients. Evaluating new hardware and network components for company use takes up the rest of his time.

  • Kelly Morgan, Director of Implementation

    Kelly Morgan was hired in January of 2008 to lead new clients through the Implementation process as a project manager. She has more than 7 years experience in the HIS industry in implementation, customer support and billing office management.

    Now, as Director of Implementation, Kelly is responsible for the scheduling, planning, supervision and follow-up of all AccuReg implementations for DSI.

    The Implementation Department is also responsible for Quarterly Client Maintenance Reviews. These detailed analyses will identify opportunities for new edits or modifications that will improve existing edits.   • Jason Gibney, Director of Marketing

    Jason Gibney joined Database Solutions in April of 2007. He is responsible for leading DSI's sales and marketing team in an effort to form partnerships with various healthcare providers across the United States. He has more than twelve years of experience working with hospital providers to streamline Revenue Cycle operations.

    Prior to joining DSI, Jason worked for Mobile AL based, The SSI Group, Inc., as a Revenue Cycle Consultant, and also held various other titles in the implementation department over his ten years with the company. He also spent twelve years in the United States Air Force Reserve.
