AccuReg Gives Back

AccuReg Founder and CEO, Paul Shorrosh, along with Brian Fulford, AccuReg Vice President of Information Technology, traveled to Ouanaminthe, Haiti this week to support Danita’s Children, a charitable organization that rescues and cares for orphaned children in Haiti. While there, Shorrosh and Fulford set up a hospital network and servers for the organization’s medical center. Danita’s Children will be able to use electronic medical records (EMR) in its hospital once this new system is configured.

“This week went very well,” said Shorrosh. “It was great to spend time here with the local children and missionaries. They are all amazing people.”

As a company, AccuReg adopted Danita’s Children and has actively supported the organization for over five years, and currently shares a corporate office in Franklin, Tennessee. During this time, AccuReg representatives have installed electricity, medical equipment and computer servers for the hospital. The company has solicited donations from hospitals for medical supplies, contributing items that range from medical gloves, gauze, bandages, baby formula, DME, wheel chairs and examination tables. The company has also held campaigns to collect items for the orphanage, including socks, underwear and shoes. Shorrosh currently serves as a board member for Danita’s Children and has contributed mission time with his family and on behalf of AccuReg.
