AccuReg
offers integration with electronic insurance eligibility
(270/271) data! No longer limited to format editing, AccuReg
can now compare actual values between
insurance eligibility data and Registration-keyed data to identify and
report value variances back to the Registrar for
self-correction. Without adding further intrusion on the
patient registration process, we can now catch transposition
errors in Policy#, Group#, SSN, DOB, even spelling of name.
We can even identify elusive Medicare HMO and Hospice claims
wrongly loaded as standard Medicare, along with many other powerful
edits.
The
combined technology allows AccuReg to become an enforcement tool to
ensure that eligibility/address info you pay for per transaction
actually ends up on the UB claim prior to billing. While each
product is powerful independently of the other, when combined
they compliment one another to dramatically improve accuracy for
billing, resulting in less denials, less PFS rework, higher clean claim
rates and lower A/R Days.
While
we can integrate with any eligibility data that can be made
available to us, DSI (AccuReg) has formed special relationships with
several other industry leaders to provide this additional editing
capability.
