  • What is AccuReg software?


    AccuReg is a Hospital Registration Audit and Reporting Tool that helps hospitals manage the inevitable human errors that occur at the point of patient registration. Errors are reported to each registrar in time for corrections to be made before the claims reach coding or billing. The system gives managers powerful reports that track error rates and accuracy rates by employee, location, supervisor and type of error. AccuReg is unique in that it is not intrusive to registration yet it enforces timely error correction prior to bill drop. Rather than overcomplicating an already complex registration process, AccuReg is simple and easy to install and use, yet powerful and comprehensive in its editing scope.

  • Who developed AccuReg?


    AccuReg was developed by Paul Shorrosh, a former hospital Business Office Director who invented a way to automate the QA process at his hospital in Mobile, Alabama. In 2005 Mr. Shorrosh redeveloped AccuReg for commercial use and after protecting it with copyright, trademarks and a patent pending, AccuReg grew to 17 clients in 7 states in its first year alone, all through word of mouth referrals.

  • Will AccuReg work with my ADT system?


    We have hospitals using a variety of ADT systems including McKesson (Star, Series, and Paragon), SMS Invision, HMS, Cerner, CPSI, Keane, and Meditech (Magic & Client Server) and others. For more information, feel free to give us a call.

    Yes. Patient Access and Business Office professionals know that in their business one size does not fit all. No two hospitals are alike, and internal protocols and billing requirements change as often as the weather. For this reason we are intentional about customization, not only at install but on an ongoing basis, as part of our routine service and support. The Patient Access and PFS environment demands that kind of flexibility, and we are happy to provide it for our clients. We also suggest new edits to our clients that we develop at other hospitals, so we don't wait on our clients to call us - we're calling them with new ideas and edits. You can be assured AccuReg will never go stale on you, and will only improve with time.

  • What kind of ongoing service do you offer?


    Standard edit requests are completed within three business days, often sooner. Our staff is dedicated to ongoing, responsive, relational service that goes far beyond technical support. AccuReg clients enjoy having an experienced partner to brainstorm and troubleshoot problems with. We provide on-demand edit changes and additions, including new edits developed for other clients, all for one flat monthly service fee. We believe that AccuReg is more service than software, and we want our clients to contact us anytime and get a real person who can help them immediately, no trouble ticket required. Once our clients are live, we have a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team that will conduct quarterly reviews for each client. These in depth reviews are part of our proactive service and insure the AccuReg solution performs at an optimal level at all times.

  • What is your pricing like?
