March 23, 2017 – Mobile, Ala. – Mosaic Life Care, based in St. Joseph, Missouri, has selected AccuReg to help standardize and automate the patient registration process across its network of 58 clinics, located in 22 cities, and its flagship St. Joseph Medical Center.
Mosaic Life Care is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to improve the delivery of health care to its patients, including the insurance, billing and collections processes.
“The patient experience begins long before a patient arrives at a physician’s office,” said Deborah Vancleave, Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Mosaic Life Care. “The state-of-the art technology from AccuReg will help us to transform that experience by creating a single, streamlined registration process that is faster for patients, easier for clinicians and more efficient for the hospital.”
“We are extremely pleased to help support the vision and the goals of Mosaic Life Care,” said Paul Shorrosh, founder and CEO of AccuReg. “Mosaic has earned a well-deserved reputation as a leader for its high standards of quality of care. AccuReg will help support Mosaic’s mission by improving patient satisfaction, decreasing payer denials and bad debt, and assisting patients by accepting payments at the point of service.”
Mosaic has chosen to implement AccuReg’s entire solution suite, including Quality Assurance, Eligibility Verification, Authorization Manager, Medical Necessity, Advance Beneficiary Notice, Payment Estimation, POS Collections, Payment Processing and a Payment Portal. In addition, AccuReg’s Integrated Intelligence™ will help Mosaic identify problem accounts prior to becoming a denial and automatically provide hospital staff with the scripting and workflow to address the issues in real time.
The Front-End RCM Transformation Project is expected to be complete in June of 2017.
